It is important to understand that people in America are becoming less educated. Our schools are not educating students with the same level of education they were 50 years ago. Our reading levels are lower, our math levels are lower and our science levels are lower. Americans are dumber than ever and there does not seem to be any improvement on the way.
In all studies America comes up behind many countries including Japan, Finland, Norway, Sweden, United Kingdom, Canada, South Korea and others. There was a time when American led the world in education and literacy and now America isn't even in the top 10 and is on a steep decline.
There are many reasons as to why education is failing that will be presented in this site. The important part to understand now is that it is in fact failing.
